Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I am having a similiar problem - In the beds I made this year I am using a
mix I bought from a local landscape supply. It is said to contain organic
compost, mushroom compost, sand, and coco bark husk. All the things I sowed
directly are doing fine, but the things that I transplanted, some are turning
yellowish and those of the cabbage family the leaves are turning redddish.
Any idea what is happening?

Has anyone ever had their plants' leaves turn dark brown/black? I helped
plant someone's raised beds 2 weeks(they used potting soil and compost
from WalMart, peat moss & vermiculite) and now the peppers, tomatoes,
pansies and Shasta daisies are all getting dark brown and black leaves.
The peas and green beans, as well as the assorted herbs seem to be okay.
Any ideas on what's happening here?
TIA,
Lisa
