Home Quarters used to carry the large bags of pearlite and vermiculite.
Then Home Depot moved in across the street and Lowe's moved in 2 exits down
the interstate.  Home Quarters went bust, but I found one of their employees
at Lowe's.  She said she could order the big bags of vermiculite any time I
needed them.  So, find out when the mean lady at Lowe's has a day off and
try one of the other employees - maybe her boss!  Let them know that in
Birmingham, AL Lowe's will special order for their customers!
