Hi Garrett!
I have had a problem with invasive bindweed for several years and have
decided to control them by pulling them out (as much as possible).  Once the
initial hoeing and major weeding is done, then you can usually just control
the darn thing by pulling the little ones up when you see them.  DO NOT
compost this stuff, that was my first mistake several years ago, and I have
been paying the price ever since!  I don't like to use chemical agents in
areas where food crops are going to be growing.  My newer beds are raised
beds.  You could layer landscape material over the affected beds, or if you
really feel like working, dig down a bit, layer several layers of
newspapers, cover that over with soil and plant.  You may be able to slow
down the weed that way.
