A real garden party. To deter my mutt from digging and such, I use those square "tomato tower" tomato cages, collapsed into a triangular shape and laid on their side. It's enough to cover the beds and keep the dog out, and also allows me to put down row covers or hardware cloth (the latter in case of hailstorms).
