Good Morning all,
I am new to the list and come with a question and a request for help in
my search.
I am new to the list and come bearing a question and a request for help
in a search! I am looking for garden tools that I've seen in a catalog.
of course, I can't remember which catalog (most likely had to do with
gardening), but since I toss catalogs after one run-thru unless I'm
ordering, it's gone!
The tools are called ""strain-reducing tools" because of their
construction. The handle looks like an L and is at right angles to the
part that goes into the soil. The top or long part of the >L< - that
part - is what you hold. The "foot" part of the L is attached to
whatever tool you are using - hoe, rake, fork, whatever.
This construction is designed to keep the wrist at a natural place. I am
a sign language interpreter, and any strain, twist or pull on my wrist or
arm can result in pain, discomfort AND loss of income since I wouldn't be
able to work.
I would appreciate any help the list can offer.
