the crazy things we do...

looking back at this w/e, i wonder if i'm just insane or what...
we recently moved and i was determined to move my established SF beds to my new
place.  only a gardener knows how valuable the soil (compost, fertilizer,
worms, etc.) really is.  so yesterday we (my SO is TOO good to me!) carefully
wrapped the transplantable plants in newspaper, loaded the soil into trash
barrels, and piled everything including my frame and coldframe into a truck.
we dug the new beds, set down the frames, and layered the transported soil on
top. the plants finally made it into their new home before sundown.  was it
worth it???  i'll let you know at the end of this season.  mind you this took
the WHOLE day, and meanwhile we're living out of boxes and the new house is in
complete chaos!!
