I do NOT use supports for medium seedlings when I use floating row
covers. Although I do use some support for VERY YOUNG seedings
(ie--- No true leaves yet). A single layer of Remway (spelling) can
be used for cool nights, while double or triple layers can be used for
nights when frost is expected. I have never used floating covers
below 25 degrees F.
