Mine are light enough that if I lay them loosely over plants the plants
push the cover up as they grow, so I just use dirt around the endges of
earth staples or rocks. Once the plants are too tall for the cover to
remain loose I remove the cover. I have, however, seen large wire hoops
in Gardener's Supply catalog that the covers go on top of. They create
sort of a tunnel over the plants.
