Ok, take a deep breath. Now out. In..... Don't worry about it. When you see the pods, just pick them. Can't say I've ever tasted a sweet pea pod, can't say I haven't either. The flowers are edible, the pod must be. The plants won't stop flowering unless you let these pods take over and mature. Just pick 'em as soon as you see them.
