As I recall, it's a mixture of peat moss, vermiculite, well-rotted manure, sand, wood ashes and charcoal, and organic fertilizers. (If anyone has "the book" handy, maybe you could post the full recipe.) It makes a wonderfully fluffy soil mix that my seedlings have really taken to so far.
