Greetings from New Zealand - I have enjoyed reading this message group
for the past three to four weeks and must thank everyone for the terrific
amount of useful information. We are just coming into our winter but have
been having an amazing Indian Summer so hope our seasons might settle
down again after a couple of years of mixed-up weather.
John's suggestion for transplants (above) is excellent. I have been
using 375ml and 500ml plastic soft drink bottles cut in half and with a
few holes punched in the bottom and find the plants have not suffered
any transplant shock and I can leave them growing in the pots for a
longer period before planting out if conditions are not suitable for
planting out.
Regards, Noel.
