Hi Cheryl, > Being a beginning gardener, I am not familiar with fish emulsion fertilizer. > I assume that it is available at local nurseries or garden centers. Or is > this something that is better ordered from a catalog? I have not fertilized Look at your local gardening store first, that is the most likely source. I mentioned a good brand of organic fish fertilizer called "Healthy Harvest" in my previous post - that is the name a Canadian distributor marketed it under. In the USA the same product is sold as "Neptune's Harvest" and was reviewed by Organic Gardening magazine under that name. > my garden with anything yet. Any comments on using something like > Miracle-Gro? (I know it's probably not organic) No it isn't. Personally, I garden organically so won't use it. > Thanks Welcome, good luck with your garden! ____________________ | | | Bob Carter | Kootenay Bay, BC, Canada | bcarter@awinc.com | Zone 6b |____________________| Procrastination means never having to say you're sorry. *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
