Please excuse this slightly off-topic posting.
Several years ago my lawn was infested with weeds. I applied a
broad-leaf poison with good results---but almost all the clover was also
eliminated. Besides low mowing, how so I encourage the remaining clover
to proliferate. (Problem with low mowing is that it encourages weed
growth.)
Clover is such a neat lawn component. Not only does it grow in poor
soils (mime), and resist dry conditions. its makes fertilizer from the
air. It is an excellent cover crop.
