Hi, folks-

According to _Carrots Love Tomatoes_, onions make a good companion for
carrots.  But, when I tried interplanting them in the same square foot, the
carrots did not even sprout.  The same carrot seeds in another square away
from the onions came up OK.  Has anybody heard of onions suppressing carrots
before?
