Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I'm not about to collect urine for the garden. But, an interesting 'aside'
I read somewhere eons ago: If you've lived on a farm, you've probably seen
butterflies flock to fresh cow manure, or urine spills, if they can get
there before the ground soaks it in. I wondered about this, till I read
that there is a mineral that butterflies deplete when they reproduce,
especially the males. It apparently is found in fresh urine. I've seen it
in hog pens, cattle loafing areas, etc, so it's not specie - specific at
all. Anyhow, the context of the article was that if you notice a plethora
of butterflies soaking up suspicious moisture, chances are that it's a
bachelor pod, and they're sipping urine. And you can be assured that the
next generation has been started.
