Welcome tot he list Barbara in Oklahoma! . I cut the > bottom out of an old one gallon plastic pot that I got at the nursery, slip > that over the plants as soon as they come up or the transplant as I set it > out. I keep the lower vines off for probably 8-12 ", wrap the vines up > 6-8" with old remay and no borer! This is a great idea!
