We are almost ready to pull our garden up for the winter....ALMOST..we are
having a spurt of 80+ days and hope to get more tomatoes and peppers red.
We have already lined up a teenager for the heavy work of hauling bags of
soil amendments ro the garden area(about 300ft from the parking lotand over a
small rise) he gets some $$ and WE save our backs..we're talking about 30
bags at 40lbs each!!!!! The catalogs are bieng gone through and planting
plans worked on..it's sometimes hard to do enough crop rotation with limited
space. We're also pulling up the trellisses and will move them next year
they needed new netting anyway. The spring bulbs we planted last year have
to be supplemented, too since many never came up.
