Tomatoes were slow to ripen, but a good harvest once they did and still
getting good toms late in the season here.
Pole beans were terrible this year. This is the first year I can ever
recall having any problems with them at all and the problems were
incredible. They would form blossoms and start the bean only to never
finish but a few off to eating size. I've talked to a few other gardeners
here (southwest Missouri) and they had the same problem.
Japanese style eggplants took a long time to bear, but the fruits turned out
really nice. So-so season for peppers (at least those plants that the dog
didn't eat).
