I'd love to be planting now that the weather isn't torrid, but it won't stop raining. Today we got 4.5 inches; this week 8.9 inches and the grand total for the last three weeks--21.45 inches. I planted bush beans, squash and sugar snaps on Sept 15 and they are drowning, even in raised beds. I noticed that the peas have powdery mildew on them already and the beans look sickly. I have a flat of broccoli, cabbage and kales transplants, plus elephant garlic bulbs and bunching onion sets I love to set out. Someone PLEEEEEZZZEE take the rain away!
