I used to have the same thing, except with 18" stones. I was renting a
house with a big yard and there were a pile of these things hidden under
the grass when I tried to start a garden. I made two long beds that were
54" wide and 180" long (three stones by ten). Then as I grew and
harvested things I would move around a few other stones to give me a
place to stand. I just pretended that the stones were 12" and spaced
everything accordingly, ie: a little wide.
Now I have 4 24"x48"x12"high beds and 2 36"x72"x12" beds. They fill
the sunlit areas of my yard. If I ever get healthy enough to trim my
Camphor Tree I will be able to set in about twice as many. I could use
them.
