I want to build 24 lites for cold frames and was trying to do it as inexpensively as
possible. I'm using the plans from the book The Four Season Harvest by Elliot Coleman
but I was wondering what everybody thought of substituting the 2ftX4ft. lens from an
office 4ft flouerescent light fixture.

They cost about $3.80 each at Home Depot compared to $15.50 each for polycarbonate 2X4
sheets.

Would they hold up in the sun?
