Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I tried to look up what to do for seedlings and this is what I found.
It is recommended to place the container in full sun or under fluorescent
lights. Run the lights 14 hours per day at a distance of 6 to 9 inches from
the tops of the seedlings. Of course they said to keep the soil evenly
moist and maintain moderate rooms temperatures of 65 degrees to 80 degrees.
Use only tepid water to maintain proper soil temperatures.
They went on to say the seedlings should be transplanted from the starting
container to individual containers or pots when they just begin to produce
their second set of leaves. The transplanting at this time minimizes the
shock to seedlings. They said to be certain to handle the seedlings by
their leaves and not their stems to avoid injuries. An application of
liquid fertilizer is recommended once the plants are transplanted. Continue
to fertilize at every second watering.
Again...this is not my wisdom...it is from the course I just went through.
Maybe this will help with the other information you will get from everyone
else.
Good Luck!
Peg
