RE: TB: Orange Plume (2 photos)


Orange Plume is a plicata.  I hadn’t realized that when I crossed it with Betty Dunn.  It gave me a spectacular lined, pink-orange, reblooming seedling that unfortunately is not a good grower.  When I dug and moved Orange Plume a few years ago, I lost it.

This is the first year of bloom for me on this one. Orange Plume. Notice the white arrow below the beard, as well as taking note that this is quite possibly an orange plicata.  (More noticeable on the close-up.)

 

I tried setting a pod with this one............... no luck.
