{Disarmed} RE: RE: Bernice's Legacy

Good Luck on the Wearing Rubies X Bernice’s Legacy cross.  It sounds interesting.  I can’t wait to see my Wearing Rubies seedlings start blooming next spring.  They certainly look healthy.

Single rhizome planted July last year, bloomed in September with no increase at

the time.  Four fans now, 2 with stalks that opened this morning, about a month earlier

than last year. Last year 7 buds on 18" stalk.  This year both stalks are 21".  One has

7 buds, this one has 13 so far.  Both are badly clumped.  Hard to tell, but this one looks

like 5 branches.  Still doesn't coount as rebloom, since it skipped spring.

Used pollen from last fall on Wearing Rubies.  Breeding rebloomers is not for the faint of heart!

Also blooming now - Fast Forward & Midsummer Night's Dream.
