![]() Single rhizome planted July last year, bloomed in September with no
increase at
the time. Four fans now, 2 with stalks that opened this morning,
about a month earlier
than last year. Last year 7 buds on 18" stalk. This year both stalks
are 21". One has
7 buds, this one has 13 so far. Both are badly clumped. Hard to
tell, but this one looks
like 5 branches. Still doesn't coount as rebloom, since it skipped
spring.
Used pollen from last fall on Wearing Rubies. Breeding rebloomers is
not for the faint of heart!
Also blooming now - Fast Forward & Midsummer Night's Dream.
