Here's my poor little Golden Muffin in mid Aug.
The bloom was way at base, so w all the rain we've had it didn't have a chance to dry.
Oh, far a smart iris that can judge the weather???!!!!!!
If it had just been a bit later or earlier, I think it might have done ok. And of course if I'd move it
the correct time of year-so it's not all it's fault. This iris has done well for me for many years and I have plenty for now to get caught up again. {Though it has never tried to bloom this time of year.}
