Re: CULT: Rebloom

LOIC  --  LUMALITE is a favorite of mine.  I have several crosses involving it, but I have not seen any rebloom among my seedlings that have it as a parent. That includes the cross with WHAT, AGAIN?, which reblooms here and which produced the bright ELFIN SENTINEL.  On the show bench, LUMALITE seems to glow, and in daylight it really does.    It often imparts the glow.  See 05S3, attached.  I see that Don Spoon crossed LUMALITE with DITTO to get ROSALIE LOVING and WINTER EMBRACE.  DITTO, while not registered as a rebloomer, is, I think, well established to be one.  I used to have it, but lost it through error during a move.  --  Griff

now, Lumalite. It seems to be a VERY interesting little number.
Tell me, your 5 intros with Lumalite aren' t registered as REB, but with time, have they shown any sign of REB?
 
I've received Pinch Me = ( lumaliteX joe cool) from Terry Aitken this summer, and i hope it will bloom next spring.
I won't waste any single grain of pollen !

Loic  --  In that photo, the sunlight may make the standards appear white to someone who has not seen it in the garden.  Actually, they are uniformly softly tinged with the same salmon color of the falls.  Happily, the shades go together nicely. For angelic purity, we need to go to the recessive amoenas.  The cross was LUMALITE X BLAZING SUNRISE.  20B2 has a sibling that has whiter stands, 20B17 (attached), but that is not a rebloomer.
 
I think the Google ads are coming through your server, Loic.  The ones that clog up my iris-photos pictures are Yahoo ads.
