Thanks for the explaination Lowell !
It proves "Beginner's luck" happens, and your story
could give many the kick they needed to dare start pollinate in
May!
But you story also shows that luck is not enough,
determination and patience are mostly needed to be sure that the gift from the
sky ticks al the boxes!
Six years of patience between the maiden bloom and
the registration show how demanding the rules of the game can be if one is
serious about the job!
Thanks again for telling us the story, it's
like an Iris Fairy Tale ...
And even more thanks for this great IB iris, that i
saw in bloom last september in my garden.
