Hello Brock,
Much ado about nothing, i also thought at first,
but the lack of 'communication' from Mr. Milette's made me
suspicious, and i was right to be.
Hope the matter is settled now, the photos have
been taken off, for the second time, and i finally got a letter, if not of
apology, at least it's a reaction, from Mr. Milette.
Sorry i bothered everyone with this, but other
people have also been concerned with this issue.
Thanks for your conclusion, even if i don't
believe it's all a
misunderstanding i agree with you that things don't need to get any uglier and
ties don't need to be severed.
Thanks for your concern,
Loïc

is stealing again .
Hi Loïc,
I can't seem to find your photos from the site that link
takes me to, but I don't doubt your accusation. I've been paying attention as
this has progressed and I've seen, with my own eyes, the issues people have
addressed already.
If Mr. Millette is without fault I believe it would
be very wise for him to prove so or at least acknowledge the situation,
because (while I don't see his name in the officers of the Society for
Siberian Irises) I do frequently speak with several of them. I also see the
president of the American Iris Society is a director. I can't imagine he would
be pleased to hear anyone affiliated with the Society for Siberian Irises is
believed to be guilty of piracy. Theft is a serious allegation and is not
something I tend to tolerate. The appropriate people could be notified if this
isn't resolved.
In addition, if nothing is mended I will have lost any
faith I might have had in the Millette Photomedia business. I'm an
amateur-transitioning-to-professional photographer. I've recently
made my first sale and have been published. My collection now contains well
over 60,000 images and I have a lot of future dealings to make in this
industry. I won't deal with, nor will I recommend dealing with, anyone that
leaves me concerned.
I truly hope that it is all a misunderstanding.
Things don't need to get any uglier and ties don't need to be
severed.
