Try looking for the word "format" or
"reformat" . This not deletes the files but sort of scrubs the disc
completely clean, so it is a better option than just deleting from the
computer, it may be on your "setup" menu. If you just want to delete an
occasional file the is usually a delete option in your review mode. It may
give you the option of "delete frame" or Delete all" You should reformat
periodically.

Hi Kitty, I have been 'playing' with this camera for at least
1/2 hour and I have yet to come across the word 'erase'. I press the tabs
to all four winds and I am learning to navigate if anything else, but so
far nothing that remotely resembles and erase command. I have my 'textbook'
in front of me and it is clear as mud and I am usually not all thumbs about
mechanical or computer things. I will e-mail my son in law to bail me out.
I usually do this after struggling. It is the only way to learn. Thanks
for trying to help.

Francesca, On
my camera, you just turn to the second place (not where you take photos),
and push menu. It asks if you want to delete individually or all. I move
the cursor to all and delete. Don't know if that will work for you.

Thank you, Harold.Lash in my garden did
very well also. It was its first year bloom and I was very pleased with its
behavior. I still have to learn how to erase the digital camera of the
photos now that I have downloaded them. My son in law says it is safer to
delete the photos from the camera instead of doing the deleting from the
computer. I guess I will have to take out the 'book' and see what to
do.
