Thanks for the information.  I just can't guess what it is or how it 
got there, though.  SWINGTOWN was my best guess based on what might 
have gotten there.  I checked out the link.  I guess now I need to 
check the registered description.
  
Mine has no odor that I can discern.  Not even what I consider the 
standard iris smell.
