Iris in Idaho

Could some one help me out here?   Does anyone know if it is too cold to plant iris right now in Idaho?  If a person put them in pots would that help?       Just wondering.....

It looks like I better try to grow that one.  It may not rebloom as well here in Arizona as it does in California (if at all), but I say it's worth a try. Thank you for posting it.  Have any others to post?

It is almost a month and a half since I posted my first pic of this
fall's rebloom by MA (Tasco '99). Here is how it looks today.

I am curious how it blooms and grows in other parts of the country.

Based on how it does here (looks much like a recent Dykes winner--its
parent Jesse's Song--and has acceptable spring bloom and awesome autumn
rebloom) it is definitely of Dykes class.

But if my garden were the criterion, there would be no complaints about
Mesmerizer.
