Surprised you had no takes with Twilight Blaze. I used it a lot at one stage
and had a lot of takes and the seedlings seem to germinate easily. It passed
it red beard on well but I didn't get a lot of great irises. Here Twilight
Blaze is frustrating, occassionally it looks fantastic. but mostly the bloom
stalks are about 18" high and the plants miniscule. When it's good it's
very,very good but when it's bad it's horrid.  :-)

Thanks for the help.  I tried to make crosses with the seedling 99TA-05 and
Twilight Blaze ( blue with red beard) no takes. I have seeds from sibling X
TB . I also have seedlings from a sibling X Stately Art.
Seems like planned crosses seldom take and ones done because you have two
blooms do.

Wishing I was younger and could get serious about this. Happy to be just
having fun.
