Just a personal point of view . . . Strictly Ballroom, a sib to STH has done much better for me.  Produced bloomstalks and rhizomes at a rate of over 2-1. (I also like the color better but that is just me).  I bought a lot of Larry's irises last year as it seemed I'd neglected those in the past.  Under the same conditions, which were admittedly poor, I lost a large number of his.  One I really wanted and lost was Pinball Wizard. 

Unfortunately, I can't find my list from last year to ask for replacements.  (Too busy to look if the truth were known). Those that did not pass away are doing exceptionally well. 

Since I am moving to new soil and conditions, I will probably replace those that got away.  Give them one more try.
