Re: greenhouse iris

This can be done quite easily with Japanese Iris...Be sure to use at least a 2 or 3 gallon pot.

Subject: [iris-species] greenhouse iris

I wonder if anyone has dug an iris and grown it in a greenhouse in efforts
to have earlier flowers so that it's pollen could be used a week or two
earlier to cross with earlier blooming species?

I was thinking of trying to get I. Ensata to bloom earlier to bring it into
time with more Versicolors for example.
