Morning all.
Interesting that just a few miles east of me, is
very rocky sandy soil. The southern portions of my garden are very
gravelly, although still Manitoba gumbo. A friend of mine about 45 minutes
east gardens in sand. She's replenished the soil there many times, but
Mother Nature keeps reverting it back within a few years. Mind you, even
though most of her garden is at the bottom of a hill, she rarely gets iris
rot.

very large pot or similar container. Sand doesnât hold
water... Mark A. Cook b*@bellsouth.net Dunnellon, Florida.
