It's definitely hexagonae. Not virginica as some have suggested. It seems to be very short and that would make it brevicaulis most likely. An oval cross section to the rhizome is another clue.

Like Iris pseudacorus, this little beauty came from the same native
plant sale. Does anyone know what this Iris is? I will need to extract it
way from some Iris pseudacorus, and knowing what it is would help me know
how to culture it.
