It was bad culture.  I couldn't get them to bloom for several years in a row so I thought they wanted more moisture.  Then they rotted.  I *never* should have moved all of them at once.  Stupid, stupid, stupid....

       I wonder what made them die?  Are the genetics fatal in such a cross, or was it something else?
