Hello all,
In winter of 2003 I have sawn some seeds of Ewansias. There was no
long muddle along preparation of seeds, only soaking in cups with
change of water every two days for about two weeks. Results of
germination are such: 1. x confusa "Martyn Riz" from 3 seeds germinated
2; 2. x "Nova" from 4 - 2; 3. I.japonica from 5 - 3. I.tectorum
germinated about 95%. Seeds were obtained from BIS and SIGNA seeds
exange. Now seedlings are alive in my framed loggia were temperature
instead of -10C outside is about 0C. Seeds were sawn in little
containers 24x11x8(h). All they germinated in late spring of 2003. In
about at end of February when in loggia temperature become higher
I will replant them to separate containers for growth start.
