Thanks. This is a great start. The website provided  nice  browsing.

I still need
 1)dates of first recording of "plicata" and "Swertii" ( when first seen in gardens)
 2) references for identification of these as pallida ( I had understood Beure had made some identification as to these being the result of crosses between pallida and variagata but need his refernces.
