Take heart, those of you who have not yet received your list. The list
states that no more than one packet of each list item will be sold to a
purchaser and also that if seeds of certain listing items are in short
supply they may have as few as 4 seeds to a packet. That will help to
ensure there are more packets available to late comers. I received my
list about a week and a half ago and have sent my order already. I
would be in favor of an emailed list going out to members with computers
and email but there are still those who do not have computers who would
have to wait until the list comes to them via snail mail. Perhaps the
solution would be to mail the list to those who do not have email
addresses and sending email lists to those who do. If the emailed list
went out two days after the snail mail it would narrow the gap in time
between the two groups. That should lower the cost of mailing enough
that it would make it feasible to give up the bulk mail permit.
I hope everyone realizes that there are probably a lot more ideas out
there that are much better than this and that they might wish to share
them too. I am not saying we should do what I suggest, just trying to
prime the idea pump so that some people do not get the list quite a bit
later than other so come on folks, pump out some ideas.
