Randolph at Cornell

"If you have a contact at Cornell, it might be worthwhile to see if
Randolph's collection of species irises has been maintained, and if
*kashmiriana* is among them. A similar query to someone associated with or
having access to the collection at Kew might also be productive of
information--or better yet, a division of the species clone(s)."

I can say definitively that Cornell has nothing left of Randolph's
collection. I live in Ithaca and work at Cornell, and I've asked
around. Even the few people who remember him are passing by now. He's
remembered here as kind of an iris snob who wouldn't talk to you if he
thought you didn't know as much as he did.
