I'm really glad you suggested that.  I *never* would have considered 
collecting seeds from that local road-side patch of blue-eyed grass for the 
SIGNA exchange, which is a shame, really because I'm always getting on 
everyone else's case to do it!  Based on what I saw, I imagine I could get 
50~100 seeds.  I'll go back this weekend, they should be ripe by 
then.  Mine had tiny flowers... probably 1/4" across, or so.  It was really 
a stroke of luck that I noticed them at all.

PS:  I'll also have to get photos for the Iris Species Database...  why oh 
why didn't I think of that before?!
