Here are a series of photos of the native iris being propagated by 
the Hamilton County Parks District.  At first they considered it Iris 
versicolor, and have been propagating it as such for the last 10-15 
yrs or so.  This year I heard some dissent about it being 
reclassified as Iris virginica var. shrevei.

I've mentioned this earlier, so those of you paying attention will 
remember my promise to get photos of them when they bloomed.  Here is 
the first of 7 images I'll post today.
