Thanks for the reply, Christy. Those leaves do look a
little wide for such a cross which of course makes it all the more
intriguing. Hope you are successful planting them out and maybe? they will
send up a flowering stem next season if they are really happy.

Jim,
You'll have to settle for baby photos right now.
Only 4 seeds have germinated and none seem to resemble the thinner seedlings of
either parent species.
These are waiting till the steady rain stops long
enough to be planted out.
