Diane,
I did receive the same seeds of 'papilio Ruby', but none of them
ever germinated. This may have been the case with you and other
seed has taken its place.

I was just struck by a thought - Last year we made some raised beds
in which I planted out lots of potted bulb seedlings. I have some Med
glads nearby, though they aren't blooming yet this year. What if one
of those mature bulbs somehow was right under where I planted the
"papilio Ruby"? Not around it, where Albuca shawii, various Eucomis,
Tritonias and Freesias are, but directly under the Ruby label?
Is it likely that a Med glad, sown in April 2010, would bloom in June
2011? The only bulb that ever flowers so fast for me is Freesia laxa.
The SIGNA website indicates that all of the Ruby seeds were
distributed. Is anyone else on this list growing those seeds?
