My favourite species iris. Look at the buds
on that stem; the centre stalk is all the same stalk. The iris has been
blooming for well over a week already and still has lots of buds on its 7
or so stems. It again won Best in Section at this year's CWIS iris show
held in Winnipeg last Sunday.
