I have a pot of 10 humilis seed purchased from Hudson last year. They are
into the second year of trying to germinate. The pot has been sitting in the
cold frame with the cover off taking the snow and whatever Mom Nature throws at
them.
Also have a pot of 3 confusa out of 10 that germinated within the same time
frame and on the same purchase from Hudson. Two are short, petite and the
fans are clustered. The third is about 7" tall with just a single fan and a
very small offset.
I can't remember any specific info and I can't locate the Hudson folder
immediately. Lord, I could mess up a junk yard.
We were visiting kids and grand kids in Florida this January and I
picked up about 10 pods of D. grandiflora from their neighbors. I've sowed them
and not really sure why as they would probably not survive the winter
weather. Now I regret the sowings. See par. 3 above
I have about 35 D. grandiflora x D. orchioides?) from Signa
seed. Twice as many to lose!
