another long wait


I have been trying to grow and flower Iris minutoaurea
for many years. Today I spotted a bit of yellow in the
pot of a plant I bought 5 years ago. I looked closely and
while it had been eaten a little by something, it is a flower!
I got out my macro lens and took a picture.

I don't know if it flowered because we had an unusual
spell of hard freezes this winter or because it is now
crowded.
