I used a 100x objective, both my eye pieces and camera adapter are 10x, so 1000x total. I then cropped the photo from 12 megapixels down to what I sent.

I finally started using the pencil-with-eraser method to push down hard on the slide cover. I had to switch from a not quite flat table top to a piece of polished granite to avoid breaking the slide. I also started visually scanning the slide at 100x looking for promising cells before switching to 1000x. Even at 100x it takes a long time to check the entire slide. Now the question is: can I do it a second time?
